Her boss, unhappy with all the negative publicity, has bad news--she has been fired from her prime time radio show and offered a humilating demotion to the two a.m. slot: the graveyard shift. She is going to create a playlist of songs that have defined her life and write her autobiography, using these songs as the chapters.

As the Plan begins to unfold, so does this poignant, funny, compulsively readable novel.
